This Day In Hockey History, Los Angeles Kings Marcel Dionne scored the first hat trick of his playoff career in defeating the Boston Bruins 6-4 in game three of the Quarter Finals. The Kings would wind up losing the series 4-3. Marcel Dionne would finish his career with 731 goals, 1,040 assists for 1771 points, for 6th all-time in the NHL in 1348 NHL games played. Marcel ranks 5th in all-time goals scored, 14 ahead of Phil Esposito and 10 behind Brett Hull.

These days Marcel (Little Beaver) Dionne is operating a sports memorabilia store. He also buys and sells real estate. In addition to this, Dionne owns a diner in Niagra Falls called Blue Line Diner and manages a large business and investment portfolio.
