It was a special night for sure, when on December 31, 1988 one of NHL Hockey’s most memorable record’s was made. The five goals scored that night came in this fashion: even strength, on the power play, a shorthanded goal, one on a penalty shot (while shorthanded) and finally an empty net goal. I think their may have been a sixth goal scored from the Parking lot as well, (just foolin). The only thing he didn’t do that night was sell hotdog’s.
The night was magic for sure as an opposition player (Kirk Muller) scored five points as well.
