This Day In Hockey History March 8, 2004. Trevor (Captain Canuck) Linden became the Vancouver Canucks all-time leading scorer when he notched his 674th point in a 9-2 loss to the visiting Colorado Avalanche. Linden surpassed the previous record set by Stan (The Steamer) Smyl.

Trevor Linden was the persona of the Vancouver Canucks, he was the 2nd overall pick in the 1988 NHL Draft. Beloved by the fans and media alike Trevor Linden will forever be a Canuck.
