Ted Talks Hockey

I am a 57-year-old male living in Rouleau, Saskatchewan, Canada. I’m married to my beautiful wife, Michelle. Together we have three wonderful children, two boys, and a girl. Eleven years ago, we decided to move from Regina, Saskatchewan, to a small community 50km south of Regina. The reason for this move was to provide a more relaxed style of living for the first of our coming children. The move to Rouleau was especially exciting for us as the news of having a child was a total shock. I’m a cancer survivor, and the prospects of having children together were near zero. My passion in life is N.H.L. Hockey. I love to watch hockey read about hockey, and of course, talk about hockey. My favorite team is the Vancouver Canucks. I became a Canuck fan during the N.H.L. Playoffs of 1982/1983. That year the underdog canucks made an improbable run to the Stanley Cup finals, where they faced the mighty NewYork Islanders. The Canucks defeated the Calgary Flames and Los Angeles Kings along the way. Chicago Blackhawks, eventually falling in four games to the dynasty Islanders. This is just a snippet of my life and how I became a passionate hockey fan.
