Alexander Ovechkin is arguably the best pure goal score of our time, if not ever. At the time of this writing, “Ovi” sits ninth all-time in goals scored with 706, trailing Mike Gartner for 8th spot by only two goals and within striking distance of Jaromir Jagr 766 goals for second place if he plays and stays on his torrid pace for at least one more full season.
